Mildred Leota Fleshman

Mrs. Fleshman died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003, at Brandon Woods Retirement Community.

She was born June 25, 1920, in Green City, Mo., the daughter of Roy and Delia (Grindstaff) Easterday.

Mrs. Fleshman was a nurse’s aide for Lawrence Memorial Hospital and Visiting Nurses Assn.

She married Charles Fleshman on April 17, 1938, in Pollock, Mo. He died earlier.

Survivors include two daughters, Jo Ann Paris, Gainesville, Mo., and Judy Jewell, Lawrence; a brother, Wilburn Easterday, Pollock; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Lawrence Humane Society, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
