Earl Ashley
DeSoto ? Services for Earl Ashley, 90, DeSoto, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Crest Memorial Chapel in DeSoto. Burial will be in DeSoto Cemetery.
Mr. Ashley died Sunday, Feb. 9, 2003, at Olathe Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 30, 1912, in Rich Hill, Mo.
Mr. Ashley bought DeSoto Grain Co. in 1959 and operated it until he retired in 1976.
He married Dorothy Duke on March 5, 1940. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include a daughter, Kathy Boney, DeSoto; a stepbrother, Rex Arbogast, Higginsville, Mo.; and two grandsons.
Family will receive friends from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the memorial chapel.
