Kansas re-enters top 10 in AP poll

Victories over Missouri and Kansas State have put the Jayhawks back in the top 10 in the latest AP Top 25. Kansas (17-5) jumped three spots to No. 9, helped by Maryland’s losses to Virginia and Georgia Tech and Oklahoma State’s loss to Cincinnati last week.

No. 5 Oklahoma (16-3) is the highest Big 12 team and received one first-place vote. Texas (15-4) dropped three spots to No. 6 after losing to Colorado. Other ranked Big 12 teams include No. 13 Oklahoma State (18-3) and No. 21 Missouri (14-5). Colorado also received votes in the poll.

The top 10 is as follows: Arizona, Louisville, Kentucky, Florida, Oklahoma, Texas, Pittsburgh, Duke, Kansas, Notre Dame. The Jayhawks are the only top-10 team with more than four losses.
