Pollard sidelined again

? Sacramento forward-center Scot Pollard is expected to miss five to six weeks after suffering a broken right hand in Tuesday’s loss to Utah. Pollard, a Kansas University product, had returned to the Kings’ active roster last weekend after being out since Nov. 6 with a stress fracture in his back.

Pollard broke the fourth metacarpal bone in his right hand in the third quarter of the Utah game. He continued to play until trainer Pete Youngman saw Pollard’s finger hanging off to the side. No surgery is planned, but the healing process is expected to take more than a month.
