Burglaries and thefts reported

• Lawrence Police are investigating the theft of tools from an unoccupied house in the 2000 block of Stratford Road. An air compressor, table saw and miter box were taken sometime between Dec. 23 and Monday, a 42-year-old Ottawa man reported. Losses were listed at $1,250.
