Chicago Board of Trade

Soybean futures skidded lower Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while grains finished mixed.

Wheat for March delivery rose 1 1/4 cent to $3.65 1/4 a bushel; March corn fell 1/4 cent to $2.42 1/2 a bushel; March oats rose 4 1/4 cents to $1.49 1/2 a bushel; January soybeans fell 7 cents to $7.77 1/2 a bushel.

On the Chicago Merc, it was the fourth session in a row that beef fell the maximum amount allowed.

February live cattle fell 5 cents to 76.17 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell 5 cents to 80.72 cents a pound; February lean hogs fell .12 cent to 53.80 cents a pound.
