Ronald Eugene Derzinski

Tonganoxie ? Services for Ronald Eugene Derzinski, 62, Tonganoxie, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at West Haven Baptist Church, Tonganoxie. Burial will be in Hubbel Hill Cemetery, Tonganoxie.

Mr. Derzinski died Thursday, Dec. 25, 2003, at his home.

He was born Jan. 23, 1941, in Leavenworth, the son of John and Elonor (Galka) Derzinski. He graduated from Lansing High School in 1959.

Mr. Derzinski served in the U.S. Army. He worked for DJ Trucking, Kansas City, Kan., and Free State Trucking, Lawrence.

He married Dee Thompson on Jan. 11, 1969, in Leavenworth. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include four sons, Michael E. Derzinski, Linwood, Ronald Miller, Topeka, Daniel Miller, Tonganoxie, and Jay Miller, Basehor; two daughters, Lisa Patterson, Tonganoxie, and Janet Hunt, Gardner; a brother, Gary, Leavenworth; 15 grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie.
