Richard L. Reeder

? Visitation for Richard L. Reeder, 58, Richmond, will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home. He was cremated.

Mr. Reeder died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2003, in Richmond.

He was born Jan. 9, 1945, in Gardner, the son of Richard E. and Phyllis E. (Brownlee) Reeder. He attended schools in Gardner.

Mr. Reeder served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Overseas Service Bar.

After his military service, he owned and operated a garage and towing service in Gardner.

He married Sharon Brunet on Sept. 11, 1972, in Olathe. They later divorced.

Survivors include his parents, Rolla, Mich.; three sons, Kelly, Princeton, Melvin, Richmond, and Marvin, Ottawa; three brothers, Jack, Paul and Robert, all of Michigan; a sister, Suzanne Reeder, Michigan; and four grandchildren.
