The future groom is the son of Robert and Pamela Jones, Fort Collins, Colo. He is a 1995 graduate of Fort Collins High School. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army Infantry in 1997. He received a Bachelor of Science in computer science in 2003 from Colorado State University. He is employed at King Surveyors in Windsor, Colo., as a construction crew manager.
