Although they epitomized the gross-out humor of the last decade with films such as “There’s Something About Mary,” the Farrelly brothers have tried to tone down their material lately. With “Stuck On You” they’ve taken a potentially outrageous idea – a comedy about conjoined twins – and turned it into a funny time-passer that avoids true edginess in favor of sentimentality. Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear are at the center of the gags, which escalate when one of the brothers decides to move to L.A. to pursue a career in acting.
