Pauline E. Nance

? Services for Pauline E. Nance, 87, Basehor, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at United Methodist Church, Basehor.

Mrs. Nance died Thursday, Aug. 28, 2003, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 8, 1916, in Basehor, the daughter of Fred and Winifred (Stephenson) Hein. She attended Central Business College in Kansas City, Mo.

Mrs. Nance worked for Hercules Inc. at Sunflower Ordnance Plant in De Soto during World War II. She also worked for Weaver Personnel School in Kansas City, Mo., for 18 years, in the purchasing department at KU Med in Kansas City, Kan., and in the food service department of Providence Medical Center in Kansas Kan., where she was a former employee of the year.

She was a member of Basehor United Methodist Church.

She married Charles E. Nance on Nov. 16, 1943, in Olathe. He died Jan. 1, 1997.

Survivors include a son, Charles F. Nance, Chandler, Ariz.; a daughter, Joyce Woodcock, Leavenworth; a brother, Robert Hein, Basehor; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
