Accidents
- A Kansas City, Mo., man was taken by helicopter ambulance to KU Med in Kansas City, Kan., about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday after a one-vehicle accident on 31st Street just west of Louisiana Street. James McKin, 42, was driving a Honda minivan eastbound when the van traveled across two lanes of traffic and into a field on the north side of the street. McKin was in stable condition Wednesday night, a nursing supervisor said. The accident is still under investigation.
