Lawrence commuter report

The following events and construction projects may affect commuter traffic in the region this week:

U.S. Highway 75 at 46th Street, traffic detoured through roundabout for construction.

Interstate 70 from the Shawnee/Wabaunsee county line to the Valencia Road interchange, traffic restricted and some ramps closed for road reconstruction.

Interstate 470, various lane and ramp closures between 6:30 p.m. and 6 a.m., Sunday through Friday, for road sealing, patching and striping.

U.S. Highway 24 from U.S. Highway 59 junction to Sixth Street in Tonganoxie, traffic controlled for milling and overlay. Delays up to 15 minutes expected.

Kansas Highway 32 from east Linwood city limits to Leavenworth/Wyandotte county line, traffic controlled for shoulder extension. Delays up to 15 minutes expected.

Kansas Highway 10 from Evening Star Road to Cedar Creek Parkway, westbound traffic reduced to one lane for bridge repair; K-10 from Lexington Avenue to Cedar Creek Parkway, eastbound traffic reduced to one lane for bridge repair.

James Taylor concert, 7:30 p.m. today; Sammy Hagar, 8 p.m. Friday, Verizon Wireless Amphitheater, Bonner Springs.

Kansas Highway 7 and Nettleton Avenue, southbound ramps closed for road reconstruction.

K-7, lane and ramp closures for road milling and overlay.

K-32 from K-7 to 59th Street, lane restrictions, closures for milling and overlay.

I-70 at Interstate 635, traffic placed on existing westbound lanes for road reconstruction. I-635 between Metropolitan Avenue and Parallel Parkway, traffic placed on existing southbound lanes for road reconstruction. Several associated ramps closed.

Interstate 35 at Southwest Boulevard, northbound exit ramp and southbound entrance ramp closed for bridge replacement.

I-35 from I-635/U.S. Highway 69 interchange to Lamar Avenue, traffic reduced to one lane between 8 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday for sealing, patching and striping.

Kansas City Royals vs. Minnesota Twins, 1:05 p.m. today, Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City, Mo.

Interstate 435 from I-35 to Quivira Road, traffic reduced to one lane between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. for patching and striping.

Western Hills neighborhood, on-street parking restricted and short-term lane closures for chip and seal.

Sixth Street, at Kasold Drive, reduced to one lane each direction for intersection improvements.

Maple Street, from Third to Seventh streets, on-street parking restricted and short-term lane closures for chip and seal.

13th Street, from Oread Avenue to Louisiana Street, one way westbound for line installation.

12th Street, from Pennsylvania Street to Haskell Avenue, 1300 block of Delaware and Garfield streets, and Pennsylvania and Delaware streets at Forrest Avenue, on-street parking restricted and short-term lane closures for chip and seal.

Clinton Parkway, from Wakarusa Drive to Crossgate Drive, one lane each direction for milling, overlay and repair.

31st Street and Ousdahl Road, on-street parking restricted and short-term lane closures for chip and seal.

27th Street, from Belle Haven Drive to Louisiana Street, closed for storm sewer improvements.

Ohio Street, north of Dakota Street, restricted for line installation.

21st Street, from Kentucky Street to Barker Avenue, and Kentucky, Vermont and Rhode Island streets, from 20th to 22nd streets, closed for storm sewer improvements.

22nd Street, west of Haskell Avenue, on-street parking restricted and short-term lane closures for chip and seal.
