Meghan and Brad LaBonte

Meghan Graham and Brad LaBonte, both of Lawrence, were married May 31, 2003, at Free Methodist Church, Lawrence, with Ron Stegall officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Bill and Mary Graham, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Mike and Karen LaBonte, Lawrence.

Matron of honor was Mary Graham. Best man was Ryan Bailey. Bridesmaids were Michelle Veldhuisen, Mandy Allen, Melissa Menke, Andrea Bond and Kaci Kious. Groomsmen were Robert Harvey, Matt Palmateer, Brian LaBonte, Jerod Ellis and Brandon Graham.

Personal attendant was Angela Harvey. Frankie Jarrow and Nikki Jarrow were candle lighters. Hannah Termorshuizen was flower girl. Noah Huston and Sampson Huston were ring bearers. John Huston was scripture reader. Wanda Haney and Kathy Stegall were musicians. Tamara Jarrow, Karen McKinney and Emily Haynes were guest book and gift table attendants.

A reception was held at Steve’s Place in Lawrence.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Lawrence High School. She received a bachelor of arts in physical education and health in 2003 from Dordt College, Sioux Center, Iowa. She will be teaching junior high and high school physical education classes and coaching volleyball at Veritas Christian School.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Lawrence High School. He attended Johnson County Community College. He works for Morgan Concrete Services.

The couple reside in Lawrence.

Katherine and Matthew Burnham

Katherine Lynn Nielsen and Matthew Joseph Burnham, both of Lawrence, were married July 26, 2003, at the Unity Church of Lawrence with the Rev. Sheri Schultz officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Eric and Rebecca Nielsen, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Joseph and Glenna Burnham, Claremore, Okla.

Best man was James Burnham. Bridesmaids were Linda Rice, Erika Johnson and Martina Morucci. Groomsmen were Matthew Frisbie and Ian Warner. Tracey Stewart was flower girl. Wyatt Stewart was ring bearer. Ushers were Josh Campbell, Ian Hamilton, Brad Scott and Ward Svarvari.

A reception was held at Liberty Hall.

The bride is a graduate of Shawnee Mission North High School. She received a bachelor of arts in environmental studies from Kansas University. She is an environmental management resources consultant for Hernly Associates Inc., Lawrence.

The groom is a graduate of Bishop Kelly High School, Tulsa, Okla. He received a bachelor of science in geology and a master of business administration from KU. He is a geologist/program manager with Environmental Management Resources, Lawrence.

The couple reside in Lawrence.

Geoffrey and Lindsay Todd

Lindsay Blair Chapman, Austin, Texas, and Geoffrey Alan Todd, Raleigh, N.C., were married June 14, 2003, at Old Glory Ranch in Wimberley, Texas, with Kris Kooper officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Winn and Pat Chapman, Austin, Texas. The groom is the son of Terry and Nancy Todd, Aurora, Colo. He is the grandson of Dorothy Knox, Lawrence, and the late Carl Knox.

Maid of honor was Lacey Durham. Best man was Matt Todd. Bridesmaids were Kate Butler, Jennifer Carmack, Jennifer Arledge, Colleen Mahlman, Katie Pickering, Allyson Evans, Katie Burrough and Taylor Hight. Groomsmen were Tim Wasemiller, Josh Clark, Matt Houston, Matt Dallman, Andrew Munneke, Reed Chapman, Kevin Davidson and Deren Boyd.

Flower girl was Karis Ellsworth. Ring bearer was Andrew Ruggeri. Musicians were Lindsey Leaverton and Dagen Boyd. Ushers were Corey Richardson, Van Williams, John Eric Munneke and Greg Hopkins. Readers were John Cannon, Steven Crater, Cara Brachear and Tanna Stroup.

The bride is a graduate of Westlake High School, Austin, Texas. She attended Baylor University. She plans to graduate in May 2004 with a degree in fashion merchandising from Meredith College, Raleigh, N.C.

The groom is a graduate of Overland High School, Aurora, Colo. He received a degree in physical education in 1999 from Kansas University. He is director of sales and marketing for Sports Tours USA in Raleigh, N.C.

The couple reside in Raleigh.

Lyndsay Shumway and Chad Hobbs, both of Lawrence, were married March 29, 2003, at First Christian Church, Lawrence, with Randy Beeman officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Janet Shumway, Tonganoxie, and Pam and Ray Huff, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Carol Hobbs, Olathe, and the late Tomm Hobbs.

Maid of honor was Heidi Gilges. Best man was Jason Gilges. Flower girl was Ashley Gilges. Ring bearer was Blake Overfield. Candle lighters were Paige Lee and Samantha Overfield. Ushers were Ray Huff, John Shumway and Colby Shumway.

A reception was held at Union Pacific Depot in Lawrence.

The bride is a graduate of Free State High School. She is employed at First State Bank & Trust, Tonganoxie. The groom is a Baldwin High School graduate. He is employed by Siebar Service, Baldwin.

The couple reside in Baldwin.

The bride is the daughter of Chuck and Karen Warner, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Don and Carol Hatton, Lawrence.

Bridesmaids were Chris McNabb, Jennifer O’Hara, Kristi Mahanke and Brighid Williams. Groomsmen were Todd Hatton, Chris Hatton, Scott Jager, Rob Morrissey and Mike Warner. Flower girl was Audrey Warner. Pianist was Jeremy Gregoire. Flutist was Linda Robertson. Soloist was Daniel Lassley.

The bride is a graduate of Lawrence High School, Kansas University and Johnson County Community College school of nursing. She is employed as a registered nurse by Children’s Mercy Teen Clinic in Kansas City, Mo.

The groom is a graduate of Lawrence High School and Kansas University. He is a senior engineer with Burns & McDonald, Kansas City, Mo.

The couple reside in Overland Park.
