Painting exhibit among weekend diversions

Large-scale abstract paintings by Kansas University art professor Robert Price are on view through the end of August in the main gallery at the Lawrence Arts Center, 940 N.H. Works by arts center faculty can be seen next door in the small gallery. Here’s what’s happening elsewhere in the region:
