Dale E. James

Mr. James died Tuesday, Aug. 5, 2003, at his home.

He was born June 3, 1947, in Lawrence, the son of Arthur E. James and Ella A. (Cook) James Calderwood. He graduated from Perry High School. He moved to Washington state, then to Portland.

Mr. James was an auto body repairman and a mechanic. He was a truck driver in Portland.

Survivors include a son, Dale E. Jr., Lawrence; his father, Topeka; his mother, Lawrence; and a grandchild.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
