Jack Osbourne in rehab

Pasadena, Calif. — Jack Osbourne, the 17-year-old son of heavy metal star Ozzy Osbourne, has checked into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation clinic, People magazine reports.

“I got caught up in my new lifestyle and got carried away with drugs and alcohol,” said Osbourne, who entered Las Encinas Hospital in Pasadena on April 23. “Once I realized this, I voluntarily checked myself into a detox facility for my own health and well-being.”

Kelly Osbourne, Jack’s 18-year-old sister, told Us Weekly magazine that her brother asked family matriarch Sharon Osbourne for help recovering from alcohol and marijuana abuse.

Heavy metal redux

Los Angeles — Metallica is back at the “Headbangers Ball.”

The band will be host of a new version of the heavy metal series, one of MTV’s earliest, when it premieres May 10 on MTV2. “Headbangers Ball” debuted in 1987 and lasted until 1995.

MTV2, a spin-off of the original network, focuses more on musical content than the main channel, which devotes much of its time to dramas and reality programming. It is available in Sunflower Broadband’s digital tier.

Splitsville, 90210

Los Angeles — Luke Perry, who starred in the ’90s teen drama “Beverly Hills, 90210,” and his wife, Minnie, are separating.

The couple have been married since November 1993 and have two children, Jack, 5, and Sophie, 2. They plan to share custody of the children, publicist Arnold Robinson said.

“Beverly Hills, 90210: 10-Year High School Reunion” is scheduled to air May 11 on the Fox network. Perry and former co-stars Jason Priestley, Shannen Doherty, Jennie Garth and Gabrielle Carteris will discuss their memories of the show.

Perry, 36, portrayed bad boy Dylan McKay on the popular series.

None of your business

Los Angeles — Lisa Marie Presley knows people are wondering whether she’s talking about one of her ex-husbands in some of the bitter songs on her new disc, “To Whom It May Concern.”

But Presley, who’s been married to Michael Jackson and Nicolas Cage, isn’t talking. “I won’t confirm or deny,” she said.

Presley, 35, thought that listeners might think she was talking about Jackson or Cage. It’s part of the reason the album has the title it does.

“It’s a little on the sarcastic side,” she said, and it’s aimed at curiosity seekers. “Are you actually going to listen to this and look at it for what it is, or are you going to immediately go to some superficial bull and start trying to figure out, ‘Who’s she talking about?”‘
