Nominations are now being accepted for the spring 2003 Mayor’s Excellence in Education Awards.

Eligible to receive the awards are Lawrence students, parents, teachers and everyone interacting with educators. They must show excellence in education, leadership and community involvement.

Nomination forms are being distributed to Lawrence schools and are available online at www.lawrenceks.org or in the city manager’s office on the fourth floor of City Hall.

May 13 is the nomination deadline. The awards will be presented during the last week of the school year.
