KU women’s golf 9th at Big 12 tournament

— Kansas University's women's golf team was in ninth place after Monday's first round of the Big 12 Championships.

Host Missouri was the Day One leader with 304 strokes. Kansas had 325 strokes.

Oklahoma State's Christi Cano is the individual leader with a 73 at the Country Club of Missouri.

The tournament resumes today

Team scores: Missouri 304, Texas 307, Oklahoma State 309, Nebraska 311, Kansas State 312, Oklahoma 314, Texas A&M 321, Baylor 321, Kansas 325, Iowa State 326, Texas Tech 329, Colorado 332.

Individual leaders: Christi Cano, Oklahoma State, 73; Sarah Susse, Nebraska, 74; Mindy Bullard, Missouri, 74.
