Robert E. Trigg

Mr. Trigg died Saturday, April 12, 2003, at his home.

He was born June 28, 1947, in Topeka, the son of Thomas E. and Julia J. (White) Trigg. He was raised in Ottawa and graduated from Ottawa High School in 1965. He graduated from Emporia State University with a bachelor’s degree.

Mr. Trigg served a tour of duty in Vietnam in the U.S. Army. He was a financial examiner for the state of Kansas in the office of the state bank commissioner.

He married Kathy Rybolt. They later divorced.

Survivors include a stepfather and his wife, Larry and Donna Tenk, Ottawa, a sister-in-law, Karen Trigg, and a nephew, Merritt Trigg, both of Charlotte, N.C.

Friends may call after 10 a.m. today at the funeral home, where family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
