Overland Park ? Lawrence High’s boys golf squad finished fifth, and Free State was 13th Monday in the 18-team Shawnee Mission East Invitational.

The Lions shot a team score of 338; Thomas Fulbright shot 80 and finished in seventh place.

Andy Frye and Tyler Yeakel were the top Firebirds, each shooting an 88. FSHS finished with a team score of 357.

The Firebirds are back in action today in a dual against Rockhurst at Alvamar Country Club. LHS travels to Spring Hill Thursday for a Blue Valley Northwest tournament at Sycamore Ridge.
