Parks and recreations facilities closing early
The Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department announced that its recreation center facilities will close early Monday evening because of the Kansas University-Syracuse national championship basketball game.
The following is the adjusted schedule for each facility Monday night:
- East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 E. 15th St., will close at 7 p.m.
- Community Building, 115 W. 11th St., will close at 8:30 p.m.
- Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 W. 27th St., will close at 8 p.m.
