Kansas taxpayers urged to file online

The Kansas Department of Revenue is urging taxpayers to consider filing online this year. WebFile, the online filing system, can be found at www.accesskansas.org.

Electronically filed returns will save Kansas about $40,000 this year, according to the KDR, and will decrease errors. Electronic filing also speeds refunds.

Filing online is free to those who qualify for a refund or are paying by electronic check. It is available 24 hours daily and does not require additional software. Taxpayers will need their assigned PIN or last year’s refund/balance due amount to log on.
