Burlington ? Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff will meet with representatives of Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corp. Thursday to discuss the annual safety performance assessment of the plant.

The meeting will be at 6 p.m. in the Coffey County Courthouse, 110 S. Sixth St., Burlington. Commission staff will answer questions from the public at the end of the meeting.

Commission officials will discuss the plant’s operation during 2002 and proposed inspections for 2003. Topics will include how Wolf Creek is conforming with post Sept. 11 safety standards.
