Topeka ? Free State High’s volleyball team placed fourth of 10 teams at the Seaman Invitational on Saturday.

The Firebirds beat Olathe North, 15-12, 15-5, and Santa Fe Trail, 15-6, 15-9, and lost to Topeka Hayden, 5-15, 3-15, and Topeka West, 15-11, 8-15, 15-17.

Free State lost to SM North in the semifinals 7-15, 3-15 and dropped the consolation finals to Silver Lake 6-15, 9-15.

Linsey Morningstar made the alltournament team.

On Thursday, FSHS lost to Olathe North, 14-16, 10-15, and beat SM West, 11-15, 15-9, 15-12.
