The future bride graduated from Central Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is employed at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.

The future groom graduated from Kansas State University with a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering. He is employed at Yellow Transportation.

Ware-DeWolfe

Alexandria Ware and Oliver DeWolfe, both of Santa Barbara, Calif., announce their engagement.

The future bride is the daughter of James and Paula Ware, Oskaloosa. She is a 1992 graduate of Oskaloosa High School and a 1996 graduate of Wellesley College in Wellesley, Mass., where she earned a bachelor’s degree in astronomy. She is employed as a research assistant in the physics department at the University of California-Santa Barbara.

The future groom is the son of Thomas DeWolfe, Greenport, N.Y., and Jean DeWolfe, Enfield, Conn. He is a 1991 graduate of Hunter College High School in New York City, and a 1995 graduate of Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn., with a bachelor’s degree in physics and astronomy. He is a 2000 graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with a Ph.D. in physics. He is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Theoretical Physics in Santa Barbara.
