The Landlords of Lawrence Inc. offers a program of education and information for private housing providers of one or more rental dwelling units in Lawrence and Douglas County.

The Twilight Chapter was chartered in the Lawrence area in 1961. The Twilight Chapter of the American Business Women’s Assn. exists to bring together businesswomen of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking, mentoring and national recognition. The chapter supports the Stephen Bufton Memorial Education Fund through fund-raisers and other events. The scholarship helps women in the business world further their education.
