Here are the activities scheduled in conjunction with the “Milk & Eggs: The American Revival of Tempera Painting, 1930-1950” exhibit at the Helen Foresman Spencer Museum of Art at Kansas University:

Oct. 3: Tour du Jour of “Milk & Eggs” by Susan Earle, Spencer Museum curator of European and American art, 12:15 p.m.

Oct. 3: “‘All the Old Familiar Places’: Love Songs of Depression and War,” lecture by radio host Michael Lasser, 7 p.m.

Oct. 9: “KU Perspectives,” KU faculty discuss an aspect of the art, 3:30 p.m.

Oct. 10: “Cradle Will Rock,” film, 7 p.m.

Oct. 16: “KU Perspectives,” KU faculty discuss an aspect of the art, 3:30 p.m.

Nov. 7: Demonstration of egg tempera technique by Tanya Hartman, assistant professor in the KU art and design department, 7 p.m.

Nov. 14: “It is a Matter of Protein: The American Tempera Revival, 1930-1950,” a lecture by guest curator Richard Boyle, adjunct associate professor of art history at the Tyler School of Art at Temple University, 7 p.m.
