Borton services
Services for Mayme Borton, 31, Lawrence, will be at 9 a.m. Monday at Lawrence Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Longview Cemetery in Jefferson City, Mo.
Ms. Borton died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002, at a Topeka hospital.
She was born May 5, 1971, in Jefferson City, Mo., the daughter of Ray Rolland and Sharon K. (McDowell) Borton.
Ms. Borton was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lawrence. She had worked at several restaurants in Lawrence.
Survivors include her mother, of the home; two brothers, Quincy Borton and Tracy Borton, both of the home; a sister, Rosetta Goodyear, of the home; and a grandmother, Rosetta Saunders, Eudora.
Friends may call after 8 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel.
The family suggests memorials to the Mayme Borton Memorial Fund. They may be sent in care of the funeral chapel.
