Burglaries and thefts reported

Sometime Monday night someone broke through a bathroom window to gain entry to Diamond Everly Roofing Contractors, 2200 E. 23rd St., according to a Lawrence Police report. Taken from the business was a welder valued at $1,040. Damages to the window and to a file cabinet were listed at a total of $125.

An 18-year-old Lawrence man told police Tuesday that his 1993 Suzuki motorcycle was missing. He said he had last seen the motorcycle after he parked it about 1 a.m. in a lot in the 1400 block of Ohio Street. The motorcycle was valued at $5,000.
