He was born July 11, 1925, in Lawrence, the son of William Albert and Evelyn (Erwin) Beebe. He attended Lawrence public schools.

Mr. Beebe was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was a plasterer in Lawrence until 1957, when he moved to Garden Grove, Calif. He later moved to Anaheim.

He married Laura La Deane Pinhiero on Dec. 24, 1946. She died Feb. 12, 2001.

Survivors include a son, Michael E., Anaheim; two daughters, Glenda Sue Etherton, Yorba Linda, Calif., and Patricia Lewallen, Huntington Beach, Calif.; a brother, Rollie Beebe, Kansas; a sister, Bonnie Beebe Turner, College Station, Tex.; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
