Miller services

Services for Frances May Miller, 84, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Miller died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born Jan. 20, 1918, in Lawrence, the daughter of LeRoy S. and Ida May (Burgner) McLean. She graduated in 1936 from Liberty Memorial High School. She had lived in Lawrence all her life.

Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and worked with her husband at Miller Print Shop for more than 50 years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She married Harlan W. Miller on March 6, 1937, in Lawrence. He died March 29, 1989.

Survivors include a daughter, Jean Pavela, Maywood, Ill.; a son, Harlan L. Miller, Atlanta; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday at the mortuary.

The family suggests memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church Radio Fund or Douglas County Visiting Nurses Assn., sent in care of the mortuary.
