Haroldine M. Nieweg
Lee’s Summit, Mo. Services for Haroldine M. Nieweg, 71, Lee’s Summit, Mo., will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Langsford-Cox Funeral Home, Lee’s Summit. Burial will be in Lee’s Summit Cemetery.
Mrs. Nieweg died Monday, Oct. 28, 2002, at North Kansas City Hospital.
She was born Sept. 7, 1931, in Edgar, Neb., the daughter of Harold Eugene and Mildred Mae (Wymore) Hicks. She spent most of her life in the Lee’s Summit area and graduated in 1949 from Lee’s Summit High School.
Mrs. Nieweg worked for the federal government for 30 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of Lee’s Summit United Methodist Church.
She married Richard E. Nieweg 35 years ago. He survives of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Kevin Atwood, Lee’s Summit; two daughters, Colleen Sims, Lawrence, Kan., and Kelli Groom, Lee’s Summit; a stepdaughter, Janne Martin, Shasta Lake City, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
