Donald Eugene Tribble
Topeka Services for Donald Eugene Tribble, 78, Topeka, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Central Presbyterian Church in Topeka. Burial with military honors will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Topeka.
Mr. Tribble died Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002, at Midland Hospice House in Topeka.
He was born Aug. 24, 1924, in Moberly, Mo., the son of Gweneth E. and Mary Opal (Goon) Tribble. He graduated from Higbee (Mo.) High School in 1942 and had lived in Topeka since 1966.
Mr. Tribble joined the U.S. Air Force in 1942. He worked at Kansas University as a systems analyst for student records until he retired in 1987.
He was a member of Central Presbyterian Church, Melvern Masonic Lodge No. 22 and Arab Shrine of Topeka.
He married Georgia Dooty on Sept. 11, 1947, at Fort Leavenworth. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include three daughters, Dona Hokanson, Friendswood, Tex., and Nancy Warren and Diane Torrez, both of Topeka; a son, Charles, Overland Park; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after noon Sunday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel in Topeka, where the family will receive friends from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
