She was born Feb. 23, 1908, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Robert and Maybelle (Spangler) Slavens.

She graduated from Lecompton High School in 1925 as class valedictorian and from Western State College.

Mrs. Hall taught at many schools and was a basketball coach in 1936 in Ouray, Colo. She received many teaching awards.

She married Wayne Calvin Hall on May 29, 1936. He died Sept. 19, 1981.

Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Nell Mischler, Waunakee, Wis., and Marilyn Louise Darrow, St. Cloud, Calif.; a sister, Henrietta Anderson, Kansas; and three grandchildren.
