Jeremy David Abbo

Topeka Services for Jeremy David Abbo, 19, Topeka, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Lowman United Methodist Church. Cremation and private inurnment will be later.

Mr. Abbo died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at a Topeka hospital after a car accident.

He was born Feb. 24, 1983, in Lawrence, and was adopted by Gordon E. and Anne (Seiser) Abbo on March 2, 1983.

Mr. Abbo was a student at Topeka West High School and Kaw Area Technical School. He was a member of German Club and had been a wrestler. He was also a member of Lowman United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his mother, Topeka; his father, Melbourne, Fla.; a brother, Ben, Lawrence; a sister, Deborah Abbo, Baldwin; paternal grandparents, Fred and Eva Abbo, La Jolla, Calif., and Gisela and Walter Halbasch, Antioch, Calif.; and maternal grandparents, Barbara Seiser, Des Moines, Iowa, Jean Seiser, Ames, Iowa, and Milton Seiser and Evelyn Johnston, Des Moines, Iowa.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Funeral Home, where family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
