Columbia, Mo. ? Kansas University finished 1-2 in the 1,000 freestyle, but Missouri cruised to a 170-126 swimming and diving victory in a dual with the Jayhawks on Friday.

KU’s Andrea Becker won the 1,000 free and teammate Beth Schryer was second. KU also finished 1-2-3 in the 200 individual medley. Gwen Haley won and was followed by Maegen Himes and Heidi Landherr.

KU’s only other individual winners were Kristen Johnson in the 200 breaststroke and Patti Stringham in one-meter diving.
