Joice

Halmon and Winnie Joice, Lawrence, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a reception from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 10 at First Southern Baptist Church, 4300 W. Sixth St.

Hosts will be their children, Charles and Jane Joice, Sallisaw, Okla., and Robert and Sandra Drake, Lawrence, and the couple’s six grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

Halmon Joice and Winnie Scott were married Nov. 11, 1942, at the First Baptist Church in Boynton, Okla.

LeRoux

Herman and Marjorie LeRoux, Lawrence, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a buffet reception from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 10 in Building 1 of the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds.

They were married Nov. 4, 1952, in Oskaloosa. Herman worked for Wilson Implement for several years. He then worked for Johanning Implement until it closed. Marjorie worked at several Kansas University fraternities and sororities.

Their children are Art and Debbie Feist, Lawrence; Jerry and Lynda Wilson, Eudora; and Eric LeRoux, Lawrence. They have four grandchildren.

The couple’s children are hosts for the reception. Family and friends are invited.

The couple request no gifts.
