KAN Film Festival to put original films in spotlight

The 11th annual KAN Film Festival will screen 78 finalists June 1 at Kansas University’s Lied Center. This will include a professional division, as well as many student works.
The festival begins at 8:30 a.m. with the presentation of awards at 5 p.m. Admission is free; the event is open to the public.
The KAN Film Festival, is principally sponsored by the Kansas Arts Commission, and the Missouri Film Commission, and is the largest student film festival in Kansas and Missouri.
