The following events and construction projects may affect commuter traffic this week in the region:

Kansas University graduation, today, Memorial Stadium.

Kansas City Royals vs. Texas Rangers, Thursday, Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City, Kan.

May 23-26: O'Reilly Summer Nationals, Thursday through May 26, Heartland Park, Topeka.

Kansas City Royals vs. Texas Rangers, Friday and Saturday, Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City, Kan.

Kansas Highway 7, near Lone Elm Road in Olathe, closed for bridge replacement and road construction.

7. Westbound Interstate Highway 70 to Washington Street (U.S. Highway 24/40) exit ramp, closed for bridge repair. Detour posted.

Westbound Interstate 70 to Fairfax Ramp Bridge, closed for bridge repair. Detour posted.

Eastbound lanes of Kansas Highway 32, Wyandotte County, closed for reconstruction. Traffic rerouted to westbound lanes.

Northbound U.S. Highway 75, north end of West Gate Bridge over Kansas River to south end of bridge overpass on U.S. Highway 24, closed for road reconstruction.

Southbound U.S. Highway 75, south of 35th Street to the intersection of U.S. 75 and U.S. 24, closed for road reconstruction.

Inside lanes of westbound U.S. Highway 24, closed for reconstruction of ramp connecting to southbound U.S. Highway 75.

The following city construction projects may affect traffic this week:

Crossgate Drive at 27th Street, closed for reconstruction of the box culvert.

27th and Iowa streets, intermittent lane closures for intersection improvements.

23rd Street and Barker, intermittent lane closures for intersection improvements.

East Ninth Street, from New Hampshire to Pennsylvania streets, parking restricted for water-line improvements.

West 21st Street from Naismith Drive to Stewart Avenue, lanes restricted for water-line modification.

Connecticut Street, 700 through 1000 blocks, short-term traffic interruptions to improve the sanitary sewer system.

Rhode Island Street, 700 through 1000 blocks and in the 2200 block, short-term traffic interruptions to improve the sanitary sewer system.

Missouri Street, 700 through 900 blocks, short-term traffic interruptions to improve the sanitary sewer system.

New York Street, 800 through 1200 blocks, short-term traffic interruptions to improve the sanitary sewer system.

Delaware Street, 1100 through 1300 blocks, short-term traffic interruptions to improve the sanitary sewer system.

Emery Road, closed 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily between Ninth Street and West Hills Parkway for street repairs.

Ninth Street, one lane eastbound closed at Emery Road for street repair.

Iowa Street, at bridge between 15th and 19th streets, one lane closed during work hours, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays for bridge painting.

New Hampshire Street, closed to through traffic from south entrance/exit of parking garage to Ninth Street, for milling and overlay.

New Hampshire Street, 10th to 11th streets, traffic interruptions for milling and overlay.

Vermont Street, Ninth to 11th streets, traffic interruptions for milling and overlay.

Clinton Parkway, from Hartford Avenue to Inverness Drive, one eastbound lane closed for milling and overlay.
