Lawrence writer Mary O’Connell is the featured author this month in the Mid-Missouri Talks Books program, a regional monthly book club that encourages members of the community to read the same book.

O’Connell’s book, “Living With Saints,” is a collection of 10 short stories about women dealing with morally controversial issues and how they receive assistance from various saints.

O’Connell will participate in readings, signings and appearances at bookstores, libraries and media outlets throughout the month in Missouri.
