Burglaries and thefts reported

A 49-year-old Lawrence woman reported that someone had removed a gold and silver Seiko watch and 40 CDs valued at $700 from her vehicle while it was parked in the 2300 block of Iowa Street. The driver’s side front door handle of her vehicle sustained $200 damage during the burglary, a Lawrence Police report said. The theft occurred between 7 p.m. and 7:50 p.m. Tuesday.
