Burglaries and thefts reported

A 22-year-old Lawrence woman reported that a black Saks Fifth Avenue knit purse valued at $80, eyeglasses valued at $400 and 14 other items valued at $570 were taken from a home between 1 a.m. and 7 a.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of Quail Creek Drive .

Police are investigating the theft of a Dallas Cowboy’s blanket valued at $70, a bucket of about $400 in quarters and two other items valued at $609. The burglary occurred between 1:50 a.m. and 2:20 a.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of West 15th Street. The victim is a 23-year-old Lawrence man.

Forty items valued at $3,895 were taken between 5:15 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Friday from a home in the 1400 block of Davis Road . The victim, a 61-year-old Lawrence man, also reported that a wood door and frame had about $150 in damage.
