She was born Oct. 22, 1910, in Vinland, the daughter of Carl and Addie M. (Milburn) Deay. She was a schoolteacher in Johnson and Douglas counties. She lived in Wyandotte and Johnson counties before returning to Douglas County. She was a member of Kansas National Education Assn.

She married William E. Reeves on Nov. 26, 1948. He died in 1978.

Survivors include a cousin, Doris Moore, Baldwin.
