Dave and Sharon Neal, Ness City, announce the engagement of their daughter Megan Neal, Lawrence, to Brady Garren, St. Joseph, Mo.

The future bride is a graduate of Southwestern Heights High School in Kismet and will graduate this month from Kansas University.

The future groom is the son of Rick and Cathy Garren, Oskaloosa. He is a graduate of Oskaloosa High School. He graduated from Kansas State University in December 2000. He is employed as a human resources coordinator at Affiliated Foods Midwest in Elwood.

The couple plan a July 6 wedding at First Presbyterian Church in Lawrence.

Cox-Stanion

Michael and Barb Cox, Pratt, announce the engagement of their daughter Jennifer Michelle Cox to Robert Stanion, both of Lawrence.

The future bride is a graduate of Pratt High School. She attends Kansas University, where she is majoring in athletic training. She is employed as a student athletic trainer by KU.

The future groom is the son of Tom Stanion, Shawnee Mission, and Susan Barr, Pratt. He is a graduate of Pratt High School. He attends Kansas University, where he is majoring in business administration.

The couple plan a June 22 wedding in Pratt.

Ward-Lueck

Christina Marie Ward, St. Louis, and Nathan Eric Lueck, Iowa City, Iowa, announce their engagement.

The future bride is the daughter of Donna Stucky, Eudora, and Robert Ward, Lawrence. She is a 1994 graduate of Lawrence High School. She received a bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 1998 from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. She will graduate this month from the Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis. She will begin orthopedic surgery residency in July at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.

The future groom is the son of Leon Lueck and Mary Jean Oberbroeckling, Swisher, Iowa. He is a 1996 graduate of Jefferson High School, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry in 2000 from Grinnell College in Grinnell, Iowa. He is a first-year student at University of Iowa’s School of Medicine.

The couple plan a June 8 wedding at the Mad Art Gallery in St. Louis.
