Burglaries and thefts reported

A 24-year-old Lawrence woman reported someone took a silver necklace, cash and other items totaling $2,821 from her apartment in the 2400 block of Alabama Street. The incident occurred between 1:30 a.m. and 11 p.m. Saturday.

Accidents

The Lawrence-Douglas County Fire & Medical Department and the Lawrence Police Department were called at 8:21 p.m. Monday to Cork & Barrel, 901 Miss., after the report of a vehicle with a punctured gas tank. The gas was cleaned up, and the vehicle was towed away.
