The Motley Fool: Name that company

Founded in Michigan in 1927 as the Kna-Shoe Manufacturing Co., I churned out doll furniture and cabinets. Despite a name that suggests sloth, I ring up more than $2 billion in sales annually. My brand names include Alexvale, American Drew, Bauhaus, Centurion, Clayton Marcus, Hammary, HickoryMark, Kincaid, Pennsylvania House and Sam Moore. I’m a major player in residential furniture and contract furniture for the hospitality and assisted-living markets. I invented the recliner, first as a folding wood-slat porch chair. Suggested names for it included Sit-N-Snooze, Slack-Back or Comfort Carrier. Later designs were the Hi-Lo Matic, the Lectra-Lounger and the Oasis. Who am I? (Answer: La-Z-Boy)
