‘Home & Away’ visits refurbished Cedar Crest

This week “Home & Away” host Cathy Hamilton, right, visits Cedar Crest, the governor’s residence in Topeka, and Kansas’ first lady Linda Graves.

The governor’s wife explains how the mansion was thoughtfully renovated and redecorated thanks to state and private funding. She’ll also talk about how the first family has made Cedar Crest a real home, especially for daughter, Katie, now 6.

This week’s Sunrise Garden Center tip of the week will suggest new shade plants.

A new show airs at 6:30 p.m. each Monday on Sunflower Broadband Channel 6 and repeats at 9 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. The show is also broadcast at 9 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and 9 a.m. Sunday.
