Woydziak-Miller

Angela Danielle Woydziak and Dennis Lee Miller, both of Lawrence, were married Oct. 26, 2001, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Lawrence, with Father Charles Polifika and Pastor David Foster officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Larry and Connie Woydziak, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Kelly and Mike Chase, Lawrence, and Dennis Miller, Richland Hills, Tex.

Maids of honor were Melissa Burden and Tiffany Burden. Best man was Chris Knepper.

Bridesmaids were Olivia Cisneros and Audra Toombs. Groomsmen were Brian Woydziak, Scott Sage and Randy Miller.

Rachel Sage was flower girl. Avery Toombs was ring bearer. Candle lighters were Asa Toombs and Ashley Chase. Ushers were Austin Toombs and Anthony Brownfield. Bonnie Toombs and Lisa Brownfield were readers. Lynne Tidwell was organist. Sandy Biggerstaff was soloist. Jennifer Zgonena and Amanda Vannocker were guestbook attendants. Heather Grant was personal attendant.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Knights of Columbus.

The bride is a Lawrence High School graduate. She received a bachelor’s degree in recreation and health promotion from Emporia State University. She is a health educator at Kansas University’s Watkins Memorial Health Center.

The groom is a Lawrence High School graduate. He is a field installer for United Heating and Cooling in Grandview, Mo.

The couple reside in Eudora.

King-Weeks

Rebecca A. King and Lance A. Weeks, both of Lawrence, were married Jan. 19, 2002, at the Lyons Mansion in Fort Scott with the Rev. Ronald Keith officiating.

The bride is the daughter of David and Rita Renfrow, Larned. The groom is the son of Loren Weeks, Downs, and Lois Weeks, Lawrence.

Matron of honor was Rhonda Stephen. Best man was Jay Kenyon.

Judson King was ring bearer. Joanna Vesecky was the bride’s attendant. Laurie Weeks was guest book attendant. David Stephen provided music.

The couple plan to take a honeymoon trip to Europe during the summer.

The bride is a 1987 graduate of Larned High School, a 1990 graduate of Fort Hays State University, and a 1994 graduate of Kansas University’s School of Law. She is an assistant attorney general for the state of Kansas.

The groom is a 1989 graduate of Downs High School, a 1993 graduate of KU, a 1997 graduate of KU’s School of Law and a 1998 recipient of an LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He is employed by the law firm of Coffman, DeFries and Nothern, concentrating in tax and estate work.

The couple reside in Lawrence.
