Army Pvt. Dustin L. Patterson has arrived for duty in Darmstadt, Germany. Patterson is an administration clerk with Headquarters Service Company, 533rd Military Intelligence Battalion, 66th Military Intelligence Group.

The 2001 Lawrence High School graduate is the son of Michael and Nancy Patterson, Eudora.

Trinette Lynn Barnhart, Lawrence, recently enlisted in the U.S. Navy for guaranteed training at the Navy’s Mess Specialist School. She is the daughter of Keith and Doreen Barnhart, Lawrence, and will be a 2002 graduate of Perry-Lecompton High School.
